Intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm of pancreas
Intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms (IPMNs) of the pancreas are neoplasms that are characterized by ductal dilation, intraductal papillary growth, and thick mucus secretion. This relatively recently defined pathology is evolving in terms of its etiopathogenesis, clinical features, diagnosis, management, and treatment guidelines.

Pedunculated mucinous cystic neoplasm of the liver: a case report [PDF]
In 2010, the World Health Organization classified mucin-producing bile duct tumors of the liver into two distinct entities; mucinous cystic neoplasm of the liver (MCN-L) and intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm of the bile duct. We present the case of

Radiomics Boosts Deep Learning Model for IPMN Classification [PDF]
Intraductal Papillary Mucinous Neoplasm (IPMN) cysts are pre-malignant pancreas lesions, and they can progress into pancreatic cancer. Therefore, detecting and stratifying their risk level is of ultimate importance for effective treatment planning and disease control. However, this is a highly challenging task because of the diverse and irregular shape,

The lubricity of mucin solutions is robust toward changes in physiological conditions [PDF]
Solutions of manually purified gastric mucins have been shown to be promising lubricants for biomedical purposes, where they can efficiently reduce friction and wear. However, so far, such mucin solutions have been mostly tested in specific settings, and variations in the composition of the lubricating fluid have not been systematically explored.

Intraductal Papillary Mucinous Neoplasm with Pancreatogastric Fistula
We herein report a rare case of intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasm with a pancreatogastric fistula in an elderly Japanese man admitted to our hospital. The pancreatogastric fistula was confirmed using endoscopic retrograde pancreatography via a cannulated guidewire placed in the stomach.
