Exploring the Uncharted Indolizine Chemical Space: Construction of 5‐Acylindolizines via a Domino Aldol–Vinylogous Aldol Process

open access: yesAdvanced Synthesis &Catalysis, EarlyView.
A domino aldol condensation–intramolecular vinylogous aldol condensation process was implemented for the first time to enable access to a wide range of novel 5‐acylated indolizines with a hydrogen, an alkyl, an aryl, or an alkoxy moiety at the C7 site.

Development of a Copper‐Free Click Reaction for Asymmetric Rh Diene Catalysis Under Confinement

open access: yesAdvanced Synthesis &Catalysis, EarlyView.
A copper‐free amino–yne click reaction enables the selective functionalization of chiral diene ligands with both soluble and immobilized amines. Substituent‐controlled stereoselectivity affords (E)‐ and (Z)‐enaminone ligands, which are converted into Rh complexes for asymmetric catalysis under homogeneous and heterogeneous conditions.

Synthesis of Polysubstituted Tetrahydro‐1,4‐Thiazepines by Rhodium‐Catalyzed Ring Expansion of Dihydro‐1,3‐Thiazines with Diazoesters

open access: yesAdvanced Synthesis &Catalysis, EarlyView.
A rhodium(II)‐catalyzed ring expansion of stereodefined dihydro‐1,3‐thiazines with diazomalonates gives 1,4‐thiazepines via a sulfonium ylide rearrangement. The reaction shows a cis/trans reactivity divergence arising from different metal coordination, as revealed by experiments and density functional theory studies.

Replacing BPA: Structural Substitutes BPAF Binding to the Progesterone Receptor Elevates Breast Cancer Risk

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that bisphenol analogues, particularly BPAF, bind to progesterone receptor, promoting breast cancer cell proliferation, migration, and mammary tumor growth, indicating that bisphenol A substitutes may pose equal or greater health risks.
