Highly Sensitive Detection of Human Serum Albumin Biomarker Using a Molecularly Imprinted Polymer‐Based Electrochemical Capacitance Sensor

open access: yesAdvanced Sensor Research, EarlyView.
An electrosynthesized protein‐imprinted polymer (poly(azo‐BBY)) enables probe‐free, real‐capacitance detection of human serum albumin at 0.02 ng mL−1 within a 0.25–3.0 ng mL−1 window. The device uses a redox‐mediator‐free architecture and maintains selectivity against common interferents, illustrating a simple, scalable route to high‐sensitivity ...

An Allele of Glutamate Formiminotransferase Triggers 5‐Methyl‐Tetrahydrofolate‐to‐MeFox Conversion and Facilitates Folate Biofortification in Maize

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This work demonstrates the distinct roles of the glutamate formiminotransferase (GFT) enzyme in plants. The GFT triggers the conversion of 5‐methyl‐tetrahydrofolate to MeFox in plants, a process distinct from its role as a formiminotransferase in mammals.

Engineered Substrate‐Free Small Molecules for Enhanced Raman Scattering and Photothermal Conversion Efficiency

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
A molecular engineering strategy is developed to increase the stacking‐induced intermolecular charge transfer‐enhanced Raman scattering (SICTERS) intensity and photothermal conversion efficiency of electron donor‐acceptor‐donor (D–A–D) molecules. This approach enables to design SICTERS‐mediated photo‐theranostic agents for substrate‐free Raman image ...

Establishing Covalent Organic Framework “A&B” Gel via Hydrogen Bond Exchange‐Induced Microphase Separation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Inspired by prevalent hydrogen bonding interactions in nature, a hydrogen bond exchange (HBE)‐induced microphase separation (termed HBEiMS) pathway is proposed for the facile preparation of hydrazone‐linked covalent organic framework (COF) “A&B” gels. The charge transport of oxygen atoms within the robust COF pores is better controlled by modifying the
