Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

Vibrational signals resulting from tool wear have non-linear and non-stationary features. It is also difficult to acquire large numbers of typically worn samples in practice.

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Speech enhancement using adaptive thresholding based on gamma distribution of Teager energy operated intrinsic mode functions [PDF]
This paper introduces a new speech enhancement algorithm based on the adaptive threshold of intrinsic mode functions (IMFs) of noisy signal frames extracted by empirical mode decomposition.

Targeted therapy was evaluated in SHH medulloblastoma using neuroepithelial stem cell (NES) and tumor‐derived NES‐like (tNES) models in 2D monolayers and 3D spheroids. PI3K, AKT, and CDK4/6 inhibitors had minimal effects in NES but markedly reduced viability and growth and induced apoptosis in tNES cells, revealing distinct therapeutic vulnerabilities.

Anisotropy of Earth's inner core intrinsic attenuation from seismic normal mode models
The Earth's inner core, the slowly growing sphere of solid iron alloy at the centre of our planet, is known to exhibit seismic anisotropy. Both normal mode and body wave studies have established that, when the global average is taken, compressional waves

Intrinsic Pink-Noise Multidecadal Global Climate Dynamics Mode
Understanding multidecadal variability is an essential goal of climate dynamics. For example, the recent phenomenon referred to as the global warming hiatus may reflect a coupling to an intrinsic, preindustrial, multidecadal variability process.
