Accelerating Discovery of Organic Molecular Crystals via Materials Informatics and Autonomous Experiments

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
Materials informatics and autonomous experimentation are transforming the discovery of organic molecular crystals. This review presents an integrated molecule–crystal–function–optimization workflow combining machine learning, crystal structure prediction, and Bayesian optimization with robotic platforms.

Intuitionism, Justification Logic, and Doxastic Reasoning [PDF]

open access: yes
In this Dissertation, we examine a handful of related themes in the philosophy of logic and mathematics. We take as a starting point the deeply philosophical, and—as we argue, deeply Kantian—views of L.E.J. Brouwer, the founder of intuitionism.

Intuition, perception, and emotion: A critical study of the prospects for contemporary ethical intuitionism [PDF]

open access: yes, 2012
This thesis is a critical study of the prospects for contemporary accounts of ethical intuitionism. Ethical intuitionism is an epistemological theory about the nature of our justified ethical beliefs, whose central claim is that we have at least some non-

A Review of the Principal Questions in Richard Price’s Moral Intuitionism [PDF]

open access: yes
Richard Price (1723-1791) was a Welsh philosopher who defended, among other views, what contemporary philosophers would label as “intuitionism.” Adherence to this metaethical theory assumes, at minimum, the following: 1) Moral claims can be true stance

Fluorescent Hydrogel‐Based Strain Sensor With Machine Learning‐Augmented Performance

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Discovery, EarlyView.
Fluorescent hydrogel strain sensor based on carbon quantum dots enabling optical readout of deformation through strain‐dependent emission changes, coupled with Random Forest analysis to capture nonlinear fluorescence‐concentration relationships and identify optimal sensing conditions. Hydrogels are ideal matrices for bio‐integrated wearable sensors due

Robot‐Assisted Measurement of the Critical Micelle Concentration

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, Volume 7, Issue 3, March 2025.
The study introduces (SIMO) smart integrator for manual operations, a robotic platform for precise, repeatable determination of (CMC) critical micelle concentration in surfactants. SIMO reduces standard deviation by 80% compared to manual methods. Surfactant, dye, and diluent selection, robotic protocols, and data handling are detailed.

Human‐in‐the‐Loop Object Segmentation for 3D Gaussian Splatting via Finger‐based VR Interface

open access: yesAdvanced Intelligent Systems, EarlyView.
This study introduces a human‐in‐the‐loop segmentation framework for 3D Gaussian Splatting that integrates real‐time optimization with intuitive VR‐based finger prompting. Compared with existing automatic, learning‐based methods, it achieves significantly higher accuracy and reduced segmentation time.
