Organelle localization‐induced biorthogonal polymerization enables direct synthesis of photostable poly‐AIEgens within targeted organelles for super‐resolution live‐cell imaging. ABSTRACT Real‐time monitoring of dynamic biological processes demands fluorescent probes that can withstand prolonged light exposure without photobleaching—a critical ...

Weak consistency of the 1-nearest neighbor measure with applications to missing data
When data is partially missing at random, imputation and importance weighting are often used to estimate moments of the unobserved population. In this paper, we study 1-nearest neighbor (1NN) importance weighting, which estimates moments by replacing ...

This study shows that stem‐like cells isolated from breast cancer brain metastases drive the spread and growth of tumors in the brain. Among them, a highly adhesive subgroup initiates metastasis and resists many drugs. By closely reflecting patient tumors, these models help identify new targets and improve the development of effective treatments ...

Model misspecification and bias for inverse probability weighting and doubly robust estimators
In the causal inference literature an estimator belonging to a class of semi-parametric estimators is called robust if it has desirable properties under the assumption that at least one of the working models is correctly specified.

Modeling time‐varying exposure using inverse probability of treatment weights
AbstractFor estimating the causal effect of treatment exposure on the occurrence of adverse events, inverse probability weights (IPW) can be used in marginal structural models to correct for time‐dependent confounding. The R package ipw allows IPW estimation by modeling the relationship between the exposure and confounders via several regression models,

Intelligent Acousto‐Electrical Metamaterials (IAM) for Sound Source Detection
Our proposed metamaterial concept enables sound source detection using a single material, in contrast to conventional arrays that require dozens or even hundreds of transducers. We show that the coupled acoustic–vibrational–electrical responses in piezoelectric metamaterials give rise to topology‐governed charge transport, producing distinct voltage ...

Inverse Probability Weighted Generalised Empirical Likelihood Estimators: Firm Size and R&D Revisited [PDF]
The inverse probability weighted Generalised Empirical Likelihood (IPW-GEL) estimator is proposed for the estimation of the parameters of a vector of possibly non-linear unconditional moment functions in the presence of conditionally independent sample ...

Bottom‐Up Programming of Cell States in Cancer Organoids with Defined Synthetic Adhesion Cues
A bottom‐up biomaterial platform is developed to program transcriptomic states in pancreatic cancer organoids by tuning adhesion cues within synthetic matrices. By combining a Design of Experiments framework with multiobjective optimization, matrix compositions are identified that enrich specific cellular programs like EMT.
