Integration of semidirect product Lie 2-algebras
The semidirect product of a Lie algebra and a 2-term representation up to homotopy is a Lie 2-algebra. Such Lie 2-algebras include many examples arising from the Courant algebroid appearing in generalized complex geometry.

The nondegenerate center problem and the inverse integrating factor
This paper deals with the center-focus problem for analytic planar differential systems and, in particular, polynomial differential systems. That is, given a planar analytic differential system defined in a neighborhood of the origin of the form \[ \dot{x} = -y + p(x,y), \quad \dot{y} = x + q(x,y), \tag{1} \] where \(p(x,y)\) and \(q(x,y)\) are of ...

Time‐resolved X‐ray solution scattering captures how proteins change shape in real time under near‐native conditions. This article presents a practical workflow for light‐triggered TR‐XSS experiments, from data collection to structural refinement. Using a calcium‐transporting membrane protein as an example, the approach can be broadly applied to study ...

ERα splice variant ERα∆7 lacks the C‐terminus, and its expression may change phenotypes of breast cancers. Our results showed that ERα∆7 is found in the luminal A subtype, and elevated ERα∆7 levels are linked to improved cell survival with lower proliferation and migration.

Impact of Combustible Linings in the Simulated Fluid Dynamics of a Compartment Fire
The increasing use of engineered timber in modern architecture raises critical concerns about fire safety, particularly when combustible linings are exposed within compartments.

Systemic dysregulation of apolipoproteins in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis serum
Amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) is a fatal disease that damages motor neurons. This study found that people with ALS show significant changes in blood fats and the proteins that carry them. Several apolipoproteins were higher, lipid balances were altered, and normal protein–lipid relationships were disrupted.
