A Classifying-Inversion Method of Offshore Atmospheric Duct Parameters Using AIS Data Based on Artificial Intelligence

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2022
Atmospheric duct parameters inversion is an important aspect of microwave-band radar and communication system performance evaluation. AIS (Automatic Identification System) is one of the signal sources used for atmospheric duct parameters inversion ...

Septin 9 PB domains coordinate centrosome positioning and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Septin 9 polybasic domains couple phosphoinositide‐rich membrane binding to centrosome positioning, Golgi organization, and microtubule acetylation to control epithelial polarity. Their loss disrupts this axis, causing centrosome mispositioning, Golgi fragmentation, reduced microtubule acetylation, and polarity inversion via upregulation of the ...

Inferring the Variability of Dielectric Constant on the Moon from Mini-RF S-Band Observations

open access: yesRemote Sensing
The physical properties of lunar regolith are crucial for exploration planning, hazard assessment, and characterizing scientific targets at global and polar scales. The dielectric constant, a key property, offers insights into lunar material distribution

TRAIL‐PEG‐Apt‐PLGA nanosystem as an aptamer‐targeted drug delivery system potential for triple‐negative breast cancer therapy using in vivo mouse model

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Dimethyl fumarate combined with cisplatin at subcytotoxic doses sensitizes cervical cancer toward ferroptosis and apoptosis through GSH restriction and p53 (re)activation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Inversion Study of Maize Leaf Physiological Information Under Light–Temperature Stress Using Visible–Near Infrared Spectroscopy

open access: yesAgronomy
Light and temperature are important environmental factors for maize growth. Appropriate light and temperature conditions can enhance the net photosynthetic rate of maize leaves, which in turn promotes high-quality and high-yield maize production.

Estimating leaf mercury content in Phragmites australis based on leaf hyperspectral reflectance

open access: yesEcosystem Health and Sustainability, 2020
Introduction: High mercury (Hg) concentrations affect the chlorophyll in leaves, thereby modifying leaf spectra. Hyperspectra is a promising technique for the rapid, nondestructive evaluation of leaf Hg content. In this study, we investigated Hg contents

Inversion of a physical model of a trumpet [PDF]

open access: yesProceedings of the 38th IEEE Conference on Decision and Control (Cat. No.99CH36304), 2003
We deal with the inversion of a physical model of a trumpet, i.e. how should the model be controlled in order to obtain a given sound. It is shown that this problem is ill-posed since an infinity of inputs can produce the same sound. Then, a criterion based on the slowness of the musician's gestures compared to the sound signal evolution is used: this ...

COMP–PMEPA1 axis promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition in breast cancer cells

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
This study reveals that cartilage oligomeric matrix protein (COMP) promotes epithelial‐to‐mesenchymal transition (EMT) in breast cancer. We identify PMEPA1 (protein TMEPAI) as a novel COMP‐binding partner that mediates EMT via binding to the TSP domains of COMP, establishing the COMP–PMEPA1 axis as a key EMT driver in breast cancer.

The research on Bayesian inference for geophysical inversion

open access: yes地球与行星物理论评, 2022
Based on statistical theory, the Bayesian inversion method adopts the posterior probability distribution to evaluate the model parameters under the constraints of prior information and observation data.
