LDAcoop: Integrating non‐linear population dynamics into the analysis of clonogenic growth in vitro
Limiting dilution assays (LDAs) quantify clonogenic growth by seeding serial dilutions of cells and scoring wells for colony formation. The fraction of negative wells is plotted against cells seeded and analyzed using the non‐linear modeling of LDAcoop.

Light and temperature are important environmental factors for maize growth. Appropriate light and temperature conditions can enhance the net photosynthetic rate of maize leaves, which in turn promotes high-quality and high-yield maize production.

The research on Bayesian inference for geophysical inversion
Based on statistical theory, the Bayesian inversion method adopts the posterior probability distribution to evaluate the model parameters under the constraints of prior information and observation data.

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

Effect of bulk inversion asymmetry on the Datta-Das transistor
A model of the Datta-Das spin field-effect transistor is presented which, in addition to the Rashba interaction, takes into account the influence of bulk inversion asymmetry of zinc-blende semiconductors.

Dimethyl fumarate (DMF) reduces growth of HPV‐positive cervical cancer spheroids and induces ferroptosis in cervical cancer cells via blocking SLC7A11/Glutathione (GSH) axis. Combination of subcytotoxic doses of DMF and cisplatin (CDDP) further suppresses spheroid growth and drives cell death in 2D culture models.

Exact solution of a model DNA-inversion genetic switch with orientational control
DNA inversion is an important mechanism by which bacteria and bacteriophage switch reversibly between phenotypic states. In such switches, the orientation of a short DNA element is flipped by a site-specific recombinase enzyme.

Spin Model for Inverse Melting and Inverse Glass Transition [PDF]
A spin model that displays inverse melting and inverse glass transition is presented and analyzed. Strong degeneracy of the interacting states of an individual spin leads to entropic preference of the "ferromagnetic" phase, while lower energy associated with the non-interacting states yields a "paramagnetic" phase as temperature decreases.

RIPK4 function interferes with melanoma cell adhesion and metastasis
RIPK4 promotes melanoma growth and spread. RIPK4 levels increase as skin lesions progress to melanoma. CRISPR/Cas9‐mediated deletion of RIPK4 causes melanoma cells to form less compact spheroids, reduces their migratory and invasive abilities and limits tumour growth and dissemination in mouse models.
