Hybrid CMP Slurry Supply System Using Ionization and Atomization
Chemical mechanical planarization (CMP) is frequently used in semiconductor manufacturing to polish the surfaces of multiple layers in a wafer. The CMP uses a slurry that aids in fabricating a smooth surface by removing the excess materials.

Dynamics of Transmon Ionization
Qubit measurement and control in circuit QED rely on microwave drives, with higher drive amplitudes ideally leading to faster processes. However, degradation in qubit coherence time and readout fidelity has been observed even under moderate drive amplitudes corresponding to few photons populating the measurement resonator.

B‐cell chronic lymphocytic leukemia (B‐CLL) and monoclonal B‐cell lymphocytosis (MBL) show altered proteomes and phosphoproteomes, analyzed using mass spectrometry, protein microarrays, and western blotting. Identifying 2970 proteins and 316 phosphoproteins, including 55 novel phosphopeptides, we reveal BCR and NF‐kβ/STAT3 signaling in disease ...

A Complete CDW Theory for the Single Ionization of Multielectronic Atoms by Bare Ion Impact
A complete form of the post version of the continuum distorted wave (CDW) theory is used to investigate the single ionization of multielectronic atoms by fast bare heavy ion beams.

Ionization Balance for Optically Thin Plasmas: Rate Coefficients for all Atoms and Ions of the Elements H to Ni and implication for the calculated X-ray spectrum [PDF]
We present in this paper new and updated calculations of the ionization equilibrium for all the elements from H to Ni. We collected for these elements all the data available in the literature for the ionization and radiative plus dielectronic ...

Determination of ADP/ATP translocase isoform ratios in malignancy and cellular senescence
The individual functions of three isoforms exchanging ADP and ATP (ADP/ATP translocases; ANTs) on the mitochondrial membrane remain unclear. We developed a method for quantitatively differentiating highly similar human ANT1, ANT2, and ANT3 using parallel reaction monitoring. This method allowed us to assess changes in translocase levels during cellular

ULTRASONIC EFFECT ON ELECTRIC SPARK FORMING AND DEVELOPMENT IN ELECTROACOUSTIC SPRAYING
Introduction. The electroacoustic application of wear-resistance coatings is studied. The work objective is to obtain a mathematical model of the ultrasonic effect on the formation and development of an electric spark occurring in the process of the ...

We provide a lower bound for the energy required to ionize an “electron” from a finite crystal of low density and we show that the bound is independent of the crystal size. The electrons interact with each other and with the fixed positive charges by short range interactions from a suitable class of potentials.

TRPM8 levels determine tumor vulnerability to channel agonists
TRPM8 is a Ca2+ permissive channel. Regardless of the amount of its transcript, high levels of TRPM8 protein mark different tumors, including prostate, breast, colorectal, and lung carcinomas. Targeting TRPM8 with channel agonists stimulates inward calcium currents followed by emptying of cytosolic Ca2+ stores in cancer cells.
