ChemInform Abstract: OXIDATION OF IONOL BY SILVER(I)

Chemischer Informationsdienst, 1982

[Ionol phosphorus organic analogs and stabilization of levorin].

Antibiotiki i khimioterapiia = Antibiotics and chemoterapy [sic], 1998
Stability of levorin isolated and purified with the use of ionole phosphorus organic analogs having in their structure phosphate, phosphonate and phosphonite groups was studied. The compound having in its structure (in addition to tertiary butyl substitutes) the phosphonite group with the P-H bond increasing the compound antioxidant property was shown ...

[Correction of catecholamine-induced myocardial damage with ionol].

Fiziologicheskii zhurnal, 1990
Experiments on male rats exhibiting both high and low resistance to hypoxia have shown that ionol acts as a cardioprotective agent in the adrenalin-induced myocardial dystrophy. This effect is realized through the depression of the lipid peroxidation activity.

[Limitation of ischemic necrosis by the use of antioxidant ionol].

Biulleten' eksperimental'noi biologii i meditsiny, 1989
Inhibitory effect of Ionol on lipid peroxidation (LPO) in the infarction zone and out of it after experimental myocardial infarction in the experiments on rats was investigated. The results of measurements, performed by two independent methods: point counting and the computer image analysis were compared.

[Comparison of the antioxidative activity of fenibut, fentolamin and ionol].

Farmakologiia i toksikologiia, 1991
Phenibut and phentolamine were found to exhibit the properties of the true antioxidants in the hen egg yolk suspension and in the rat brain homogenate. The antioxidative activities of the drugs were significantly higher in the brain homogenate, while the antioxidative activity of the known antioxidant ionol was unchanged.

[Formation of ionol complexes with free fatty acids].

Biulleten' eksperimental'noi biologii i meditsiny, 1984
UV spectrophotometry and high-resolution NMR spectrometry have demonstrated the formation of the complexes of ionol and fatty acids. This formation occurs as a result of the two types of interactions: 1/hydrogen bond formation between ionol OH-group and the carboxylic group of a fatty acid; 2/van der Waals interactions between the hydrogen chain of a ...

[Prevention of postresuscitation heart failure by using ionol].

Biulleten' eksperimental'noi biologii i meditsiny, 1983
Clinical death of animals caused by acute hemorrhage and subsequent resuscitation induce lipid peroxidation in the myocardium accompanied by depression of contractile function and massive efflux of enzymes into the coronary perfusate. Preliminary administration of the antioxidant ionol (100 mg/kg) for 3 days prior to clinical death resulted in a ...
