Performance of the Intel iPSC/860 parallel processor for Quantum Chromodynamics codes with dynamical fermions is described. After reviewing the hardware and software environments provided by the manufacturer, the data structures appropriate for the QCD code are described. Techniques for maximum performance are briefly discussed.

Identification of marker genes to monitor residual iPSCs in iPSC-derived products
Cytotherapy, 2023Engineered tissues and cell therapies based on human induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) represent a promising approach for novel medicines. However, iPSC-derived cells and tissues may contain residual undifferentiated iPSCs that could lead to teratoma formation after implantation into patients.

Disease Correction the iPSC Way: Advances in iPSC-Based Therapy
Clinical Pharmacology & Therapeutics, 2011Pluripotent stem cells possess the capacity for self-renewal and the ability to differentiate into all cell types of the three embryonic germ layers. Accordingly, given their potential use in regenerative medicine, they have long attracted the attention of researchers.

Multiomics Evaluation of Human iPSCs and iPSC-Derived Neurons
Journal of Proteome ResearchHuman induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs) can be differentiated into neurons, providing living human neurons to model brain diseases. However, it is unclear how different types of molecules work together to regulate stem cell and neuron biology in healthy and disease states.

Cellular Reprogramming, 2013
Abstract Interest in pluripotent livestock stem cells has been with us for over 2 decades, and although much has been claimed over the years, it is only recently that real progress has been achieved. The recent developments have revolved around the ability to reprogram somatic cells to become induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs).

Timothy syndrome iPSC modeling
Molecular and Cellular Neuroscience, 2020L-type voltage-gated calcium channels play an essential role in various physiological systems including neuronal excitation and any mutation or dysfunction in the channel has significant impact on human brain function resulting in psychiatric diseases.

Broadcast communication delay metric for the iPSC/2 and iPSC/860 hypercubes
Proceedings of the 30th annual Southeast regional conference on - ACM-SE 30, 1992When determining the granularity of a program to be executed in parallel, it is important to have valid information on the cost of communication for the system on which the program is to be run. Previous studies have measured the node-to-node communication performance on the Intel Hypercube systems.

iPSCs: On the Road to Reprogramming Aging
Trends in Molecular Medicine, 2016Aging is characterized by irreversible loss of physiological integrity, often accompanied by an organism's loss of function and increased vulnerability to death. Defects in the mechanisms preserving cellular homeostasis over time may give rise to accelerated aging.
