Phytochemical study of aerial parts from Phlomis tuberosa L
Three iridoid glycoside lamiide(I), Ipolamiide(II) and ipolamiide(III) were isolated from N-butanol fractions obtained from the column chromatography of methanol extract from the aerial parts of Phlomis tuberosa. In addition, iridoid cyclopenta[c]pyran-4-

We assessed Spodoptera litura (Lepidoptera: Noctuidae) performance on five common pasture plant species. Larvae consumed more dock, plantain and chicory per day than red or white clover, but with lower conversion efficiencies. Feeding on red clover reduced weights and egg laying, and lengthened development times compared with plantain.

Starting from the enantiomers of limonene, all eight stereoisomers of trans-fused dihydronepetalactones were synthesized. Key compounds were pure stereoisomers of 1-acetoxymethyl-2-methyl-5-(2-hydroxy-1-methylethyl)-1-cyclopentene. The stereogenic center

Provenance legacies override species effects in shaping oak rhizosphere microbiomes and metabolomes
Graphical representation of experimental setup. Quercus spp. seeds were collected at two origins: upper Rhine basin (URB) and north German lowland (NGL). Summary As climate change drives more frequent drought‐heat extremes, selecting drought‐tolerant trees is crucial for future forest resilience. However, the role of tree–microbial associations remains

ABSTRACT Iridoids constitute a prominent class of plant‐specialised metabolites, with carbocyclic iridoids (e.g., geniposide) and secoiridoids (e.g., loganin) diverging early in their biosynthetic pathways. This divergence is marked by substrate‐specific carboxyl methyltransferases—GjGAMT and CrLAMT—that catalyse the decisive methylation step in ...
