JAMA, 1972To the Editor.— C. E. Butterworth's EDITORIAL, "Iron 'Undercontamination'?" (220:581, 1972), followed hard on the heels of a special issue of Nutrition Today (March/April, 1972) devoted entirely to the iron enrichment controversy. A number of points touched on by Dr. Butterworth were explored in detail in that special issue.
