Characterization of the dynamic microbiome evolution across thrips species

Comprehensive survey of the microbiome in thrips. The dominant bacterial genera found in thrips include intracellular ones, such as Wolbachia and Spiroplasma, and extracellular ones, including Serratia, Pantoea, and Acinetobacter. We isolated and sequenced high‐quality genomes of two dominant symbionts, Pantoea dispersa and Serratia marcescens.

Frequency and Severity of Allergic Reactions to Non‐Mandatory Labelled Allergenic Foods—Data From Two Large European Cohorts

Affinity Proteomics‐Based Non‐Invasive Detection of Clinically Significant Liver Disease

Using UK Biobank proteomic data, we identified a five‐protein score reflecting hepatic stellate cell activation and hepatocellular injury that predicts major adverse liver outcomes and clinically significant fibrosis, with consistent performance validated in two independent cohorts (patients with HIV and alpha1‐antitrypsin deficiency).

Occupational Contact Urticaria, Protein Contact Dermatitis and Concomitant Airway Diseases in the Finnish Register of Occupational Diseases in 2005–2020: Main Causes and Occupations at Risk

This Finnish registry study shows that concomitant occupational asthma and rhinitis are common in patients with occupational contact urticaria or protein contact dermatitis, often sharing the same exposure. When evaluating occupational immediate allergy, both skin and airway symptoms should be considered.

Do aphid endosymbiotic bacteria influence parasitoid searching behaviour through changes in aphid honeydew production?

Hamiltonella defensa infection increases honeydew production in certain aphid genotypes, potentially modifying aphid feeding behaviour. Parasitoid wasps, Aphidius ervi, are more attracted to honeydew from H. defensa‐infected aphids; though larger honeydew amounts may slightly deter searching.
