Sufficient statistics for frictional wage dispersion and growth

open access: yesQuantitative Economics, Volume 14, Issue 3, Page 935-979, July 2023., 2023
This paper develops a sufficient statistics approach for estimating the role of search frictions in wage dispersion and life‐cycle wage growth. We show how the wage dynamics of displaced workers are directly informative of both for a large class of search models.

Like father, like son: Occupational choice, intergenerational persistence and misallocation

open access: yesQuantitative Economics, Volume 13, Issue 2, Page 629-679, May 2022., 2022
We develop a dynamic quantitative model of occupational choice and search frictions with multiple channels of intergenerational transmission (comparative advantage, social contacts, and preferences), and use it to decompose the occupational persistence observed in the UK.

Global Sensitivity Analysis of Earth‐Moon Transfer Orbit Parameters Based on Sobol Method

open access: yesInternational Journal of Aerospace Engineering, Volume 2022, Issue 1, 2022., 2022
In the process of Earth‐Moon transfer orbit, many parameters are involved and the degree of influence varies among the parameters. How to accurately distinguish the influence relationship between different parameters is of great significance to engineering missions. Based on Sobol sequence sampling method and Sobol global sensitivity analysis method, a

An unintended ecological benefit from human intervention: The enhancement of carbon storage in seagrass meadows

open access: yesJournal of Applied Ecology, Volume 58, Issue 11, Page 2441-2452, November 2021., 2021
Artificial opening of tidal inlet can potentially provide unintended ecological benefits, such as increased carbon sequestration in seagrass meadows. Hydrological interventions could be undertaken intentionally as a potential active intervention to sequester carbon, as well as control flood risk and provide other benefits to people in estuarine systems.

Gene replacement therapy restores RCBTB1 expression and cilium length in patient‐derived retinal pigment epithelium

open access: yesJournal of Cellular and Molecular Medicine, Volume 25, Issue 21, Page 10020-10027, November 2021., 2021
Abstract Biallelic mutations in the RCBTB1 gene cause retinal dystrophy. Here, we characterized the effects of RCBTB1 gene deficiency in retinal pigment epithelial (RPE) cells derived from a patient with RCBTB1‐associated retinopathy and restored RCBTB1 expression in these cells using adeno‐associated viral (AAV) vectors. Induced pluripotent stem cells
