Recent Advances in Wide‐Bandgap Perovskite Solar Cells
Ubiquitous defects predominately account for photo‐instability and open‐circuit voltage losses in wide‐bandgap perovskite solar cells (WBG PSCs). This review comprehensively presents the underlying impact mechanisms, summarizes the advanced optimization strategies across various functional layers and their interfaces to develop efficient and stable WBG

Implementation of annihilation and junction reactions in vector density-based continuum dislocation dynamics [PDF]
In a continuum dislocation dynamics formulation by Xia and El-Azab, dislocations are represented by a set of vector density fields, one per crystallographic slip systems. The space-time evolution of these densities is obtained by solving a set of dislocation transport equations coupled with crystal mechanics.

Subcoracoid dislocation of the acromioclavicular joint
Subcoracoid acromioclavicular dislocations are rarely seen injuries of the shoulder. We present a patient with multiple injuries and a subcoracoid acromioclavicular dislocation resulting from a falling injury. Physical examination revealed painful mechanical block at 90 degrees of abduction and swelling in the acromioclavicular region.

Biomechanical‐to‐electrical energy conversion devices are uniquely suited for self‐driven physiological information monitoring and powering human–computer interaction systems. These devices based on micro‐/nanoarchitectured inorganic dielectric materials (MNIDMs) have shown ultrahigh electromechanical performance and thus great potential for practical ...

Microplasticity and yielding in crystals with heterogeneous dislocation distribution [PDF]
In this study, we use discrete dislocation dynamics (DDD) simulation to investigate the effect of heterogeneous dislocation density on the transition between quasi-elastic deformation and plastic flow in face-centered cubic single crystals. By analyzing the stress-strain curves of samples with an initial, axial dislocation density gradient, we arrive ...

Microscopy of glazed layers formed during high temperature sliding wear at 750C [PDF]
The evolution of microstructures in the glazed layer formed during high temperature sliding wear of Nimonic 80A against Stellite 6 at 750 ◦C using a speed of 0.314ms−1 under a load of 7N has been investigated using scanning electron microscopy (SEM ...

Ultra‐Fine 3D Bioprinting of Dynamic Hyaluronic Acid Hydrogel for in Vitro Modeling
3D bioprinting merges tissue engineering and additive manufacturing to create biological structures. A bioink is developed by modifying hyaluronic acid, a natural extracellular matrix polymer, with cysteine. Potassium iodide is later added to tune gelation kinetics, enabling fine printing with a 32G needle.

The continuum limit of interacting dislocations on multiple slip systems [PDF]
In this paper we derive the continuum limit of a multiple-species, interacting particle system by proving a $\Gamma$-convergence result on the interaction energy as the number of particles tends to infinity. As the leading application, we consider $n$ edge dislocations in multiple slip systems.

Surgical treatment of Rockwood grade-V acromioclavicular joint dislocations
Background and purpose Long-term outcome after surgery for grade-V acromioclavicular joint dislocation has not been reported. We performed a retrospective analysis of functional and radiographic outcome 15–22 years after surgery.
