Met Jonagold-appelen, afkomstig van 10 fruitteeltbedrijven in het zuidwestelijk zeekleigebied, werd bewaaronderzoek uitgevoerd. De appelen werden bewaard in gescrubde CA-bewaring bij 5% CO2 en 3% O2. In de proefjaren '83 en '84 werd rond de plukperiode de zetmeelwaarde bepaald en werden ethyleenproduktiemetingen uitgevoerd ter bepaling van de rijpheid.
