Multipoint Thermal Sensing System for Power Semiconductor Devices Utilizing Fiber Bragg Gratings
This study investigates the feasibility of using fiber Bragg grating (FBG) sensors for multipoint thermal monitoring of several power semiconductor devices (PSDs), such as insulated gate bipolar transistors (IGBTs), and rectifiers assembled on a common ...

Etoposide induces DNA damage, activating p53‐dependent apoptosis via caspase‐3/7, which cleaves PARP1. Dammarenediol II enhances this apoptotic pathway by suppressing O‐GlcNAc transferase activity, further decreasing O‐GlcNAcylation. The reduction in O‐GlcNAc levels boosts p53‐driven apoptosis and influences the Akt/GSK3β/mTOR signaling pathway ...

Aptamers are used both therapeutically and as targeting agents in cancer treatment. We developed an aptamer‐targeted PLGA–TRAIL nanosystem that exhibited superior therapeutic efficacy in NOD/SCID breast cancer models. This nanosystem represents a novel biotechnological drug candidate for suppressing resistance development in breast cancer.

A Drosophila Mutant with a Temperature-Sensitive Block in Nerve Conduction [PDF]
A mutant, napts (no action potential, temperature-sensitive), is described in which axonal conduction fails at high temperature. Synaptic transmission at the larval neuromuscular junction is unimpaired.

The PI3Kδ inhibitor roginolisib (IOA‐244) preserves T‐cell function and activity
Identification of novel PI3K inhibitors with limited immune‐related adverse effects is highly sought after. We found that roginolisib and idelalisib inhibit chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL) cells and Treg suppressive functions to similar extents, but roginolisib affects cytotoxic T‐cell function and promotion of pro‐inflammatory T helper subsets to a

Research of the tolerable pulsed power of silicon p+–p–n+-structure
The conducted researches of the thermal parameters of the silicon p+–p–n+-structure under the influence of the pulse signal have shown that the structure thermal resistance decreases in proportion to the decrease in the thickness of the base region and ...

Meta‐transcriptome analysis identified FGF19 as a peptide enteroendocrine hormone associated with colorectal cancer prognosis. In vivo xenograft models showed release of FGF19 into the blood at levels that correlated with tumor volumes. Tumoral‐FGF19 altered murine liver metabolism through FGFR4, thereby reducing bile acid synthesis and increasing ...

Revisiting multi-domain empirical modelling of light-emitting diode luminaire
In this work, an empirically derived multi-domain model of a light-emitting diode (LED) luminaire is proposed. The optical, electrical, and thermal characteristics of LEDs are obtained from the data sheets provided by manufacturers.
