Transformation and Summation Formulas for Exton's Functions K11, K14 And K15

open access: yesمجلّة جامعة عدن للعلوم الأساسيّة والتّطبيقيّة, 2020
The aim of the present paper is to establish some transformation formulas for Exton's quadruple hypergeometric functions K11, K14 and K15. Several summation formulas for K11, K14 and K15 are also derived as an applications of our main results with the ...

Detection of HERV‑K6 and HERV‑K11 transpositions in the human genome

open access: yesBiomedical Reports, 2018
Mobile genetic elements classed as transposons comprise an estimated 45% of the human genome, and 8% of these elements are human endogenous retroviruses (HERVs). Endogenous retroviruses are retrotransposons, containing 5' and 3' long terminal repeat sequences and encoding envelope, group-specific antigen and DNA polymerase proteins.

Unique Structural, Dynamical, and Functional Properties of K11-Linked Polyubiquitin Chains [PDF]

open access: yesStructure, 2013
K11-linked polyubiquitin chains play important signaling and regulatory roles in both degradative and nonproteolytic pathways in eukaryotes. To understand the structural basis of how these chains are recognized and distinguished from other polyubiquitins, we determined solution structures of K11-linked diubiquitin (K11-Ub2) in the absence and presence ...

Penicillin-sensitive DD-carboxypeptidases from Streptomyces strains R39 and K11 [PDF]

open access: yesBiochemistry, 1972
The two penicillin-sensitive DD-carboxypeptidases from Streptomyces R39 and K11 are anionic at pH 8. They specifically recognize a C-terminal L-R3-D-alanyl-D sequence with a long side chain at the R3 position. The two enzymes differ from each other with respect to: (1) the effects of ionic strength on activity, (2) the influence exerted on activity by ...

Personalized radiomics signature to screen for KIT-11 mutation genotypes among patients with gastrointestinal stromal tumors: a retrospective multicenter study

open access: yesJournal of Translational Medicine, 2023
Objectives Gastrointestinal stromal tumors (GISTs) carrying different KIT exon 11 (KIT-11) mutations exhibit varying prognoses and responses to Imatinib. Herein, we aimed to determine whether computed tomography (CT) radiomics can accurately stratify KIT-

Beamline K11 DIAD: a new instrument for dual imaging and diffraction at Diamond Light Source [PDF]

open access: yesJournal of Synchrotron Radiation, 2021
The Dual Imaging and Diffraction (DIAD) beamline at Diamond Light Source is a new dual-beam instrument for full-field imaging/tomography and powder diffraction. This instrument provides the user community with the capability to dynamically image 2D and 3D complex structures and perform phase identification and/or strain mapping using micro-diffraction.

An Investigation Into the Use of “Hybrid” Adjustment Techniques in the Application of the Sales Comparison Method in Residential Valuation

open access: yesReal Estate Management and Valuation, 2021
The sales comparison is the most common and universally accepted method in valuation. Although the theoretical entry point of the method is the same across most continents, its application in practice is varied and often determined by local circumstances.
