Summary In Kalanchoe daigremontiana aflatoxin B 1 (100 μg/ml) and rubratoxin (1 μg/ml) inhibit the elongation of roots, patulin (100 μg/ml) reduces particularly strongly the average number of newly formed roots, and rubratoxin B (100 and 10 μg/ml) totally suppresses the development of roots.
