Unconventional Hysteretic Charge Filling in Moiré‐Reconstructed Helical Trilayer Graphene

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In helical trilayer graphene, sequential twisting reconstructs the moiré landscape into periodic domains separated by aperiodic boundaries. Longitudinal transport reveals sweep‐direction‐dependent hysteresis, while the Hall response traces this behavior to hysteretic charge filling at the aperiodic boundaries.

A Bivariate $\kappa$- $\mu$ Distribution

IEEE Transactions on Vehicular Technology, 2016
In this paper, a bivariate $\kappa$ - $\mu$ model is presented. Exact expressions for the 1) joint probability density function, the 2) joint cumulative distribution function, 3) joint arbitrary moments, and the 4) normalized envelope correlation coefficient are derived. The joint statistics are given in terms of their respective parameters

The four-parameter kappa distribution

IBM Journal of Research and Development, 1994
Summary: Many common probability distributions, including some that have attracted recent interest for flood-frequency analysis, may be regarded as special cases of a four-parameter distribution that generalizes the three- parameter kappa distribution of \textit{P. W. Mielke} [J. Appl. Meteorol. 12, 275-280 (1973)].

The sampling distribution of kappa.

Behavioural processes, 2006
Research on Herrnstein's single-schedule equation contains conflicting findings; some laboratories report variations in the k parameter with reinforcer value, and others report constancy. The reported variation in k typically occurs across very low reinforcer values, and constancy applies across higher values.
