Phase transitions in the condition number distribution of Gaussian random matrices
We study the statistics of the condition number $\kappa=\lambda_{\mathrm{max}}/\lambda_{\mathrm{min}}$ (the ratio between largest and smallest squared singular values) of $N\times M$ Gaussian random matrices.

E2A selectively regulates TGF‐β–induced apoptosis in KRAS‐mutant non‐small cell lung cancer
Ability to induce apoptosis by TGF‐β is frequently lost in advanced lung adenocarcinoma despite intact TGF‐β signaling. We identify E2A as a mutant KRAS–dependent mediator of resistance to TGF‐β–induced apoptosis. TGF‐β induces E2A via SMAD3 in mutant KRAS cells, and E2A silencing restores apoptosis and enhances radiation response in cell lines ...

Intratumour heterogeneity complicates precision management of advanced endometrial cancer. Circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) offers a minimally invasive strategy to capture tumor evolution and therapeutic resistance. Here, we compare tumor‐agnostic NGS with tumor‐informed ddPCR, outlining their relative sensitivity, concordance, and clinical implications ...

Collision frequency and mean free path for plasmas described by kappa distributions
The paper shows the surprising result of the universality of the mean-free-path formulation for plasmas described by kappa distributions. In particular, the ratio of the mean-free-path over the Debye length depends only on the Debye number – the number ...

Derived length and nilpotency class of zero entropy groups acting on compact Kahler manifolds
Let X be a compact Kahler manifold of dimension n and of Kodaira dimension kappa(X). Let G be a group of zero entropy automorphisms of X and G_0 the set of elements in G which are isotopic to the identity.

Convergence to stable laws for multidimensional stochastic recursions: the case of regular matrices
Given a sequence $(M_{n},Q_{n})_{n\ge 1}$ of i.i.d.\ random variables with generic copy $(M,Q) \in GL(d, \R) \times \R^d$, we consider the random difference equation (RDE) $$ R_{n}=M_{n}R_{n-1}+Q_{n}, $$ $n\ge 1$, and assume the existence of $\kappa >0 ...

This systematic review synthesizes prognostic models for survival and recurrence in resected non‐small cell lung cancer. While many models demonstrate moderate to good discrimination, few are externally validated and reporting quality is variable, limiting clinical applicability and highlighting the need for robust, transparent model development ...

Fast quantum subroutines for the simplex method
We propose quantum subroutines for the simplex method that avoid classical computation of the basis inverse. For an $m \times n$ constraint matrix with at most $d_c$ nonzero elements per column, at most $d$ nonzero elements per column or row of the basis,
