Stabilization of a Kerr frequency comb oscillator
Optics Letters, 2013We study stability and spectral purity of a microresonator-based Kerr frequency comb oscillator experimentally and observe a correlation between the frequency of the continuous wave laser pumping the nonlinear resonator and the repetition frequency of the comb.

Advances in Kerr optical frequency comb generation [PDF]
We report and discuss some of the latest advances in Kerr optical frequency comb generation. We principally focus on widely tunable primary combs, and on the role played by the eigenmode family of the modes of interest. Our work shows that there is a giant dispersion shift between the various radial families of modes, and that we can use them to ...

Reconfigurable microwave photonic differentiator based on an integrated Kerr frequency comb source [PDF]
We propose and experimentally demonstrate a reconfigurable photonic RF differentiator based on a Kerr frequency comb generated in an integrated nonlinear microring resonator.

Mode-locked Kerr frequency combs
Optics Letters, 2011We analyze a mode-locked regime in Kerr frequency combs generated in nonlinear microresonators. Using damped driven nonlinear Schrödinger equations we show that the combs can produce subpicosecond optical pulses when the resonators are characterized with a small enough anomalous group velocity dispersion.

Optical Kerr frequency combs: Modelling and applications
2014 16th International Conference on Transparent Optical Networks (ICTON), 2014Whispering gallery mode resonators have generated a broad interest in recent years. From a fundamental point of view, they enable to investigate various phenomena related light-matter interactions, as well as the dynamics of photons confined in nonlinear media, from both the classical and quantum perspectives. From the applied viewpoint, WGM resonators

On-Chip Synchronization of Kerr Frequency Combs
Conference on Lasers and Electro-Optics, 2020We demonstrate synchronization of two coupled soliton Kerr frequency combs on a single silicon nitride chip. We observe frequency-locking between the two solitons over a large range of comb spacing mismatches up to 2 MHz.

On the Intrinsic Randomness of Kerr Frequency Comb
Asia Communications and Photonics Conference 2015, 2015The intrinsic randomness of Kerr comb is theoretically investigated in details in this paper. Low correlations among independently created combs are illustrated, and the effects of noise during different comb evolving stages are comprehensively clarified.
