Convergence drawing is used to create flexible, microscale, multifunctional fiber‐based neural probes. Optimized materials selection enables individual devices to perform neural recording, electrical stimulation, optogenetics, fiber photometry, fluid delivery, and voltammetric neurotransmitter detection in rodents.

KETAMINE AND THE PREGNANT UTERUS [PDF]

Uterine pressure, and intensity and frequency of contractions have been measured in the pregnant uterus before and after the intravenous injection of ketamine HCl. The duration of pregnancy varied from 8 to 19 weeks. In every one of 12 patients, the uterine pressure was higher after ketamine HCl, indicating a more firm and contracted uterus.

Racemic ketamine blocks K(ATP) channels in isolated cells and abolishes short-term cardioprotection against prolonged ischemia. We investigated the effects of racemic ketamine and S(+)-ketamine on ischemic late preconditioning (LPC) in the rabbit heart in vivo. A coronary occluder was chronically implanted in 36 rabbits.
