Ketoconazole induced papilledema
Acta Ophthalmologica, 1993Abstract Ketoconazole was administered in a case of hirsutismus over a period of 4 months with high doses of 800 mg/day, and bilateral papilledema developed. After cessation of the drug the condition disappeared. As far as we know this is the first reported papilledema complication due to Ketoconazole.

Ketoconazole and the Antifungals
Otolaryngology–Head and Neck Surgery, 1985A new antifungal agent, ketoconazole, has been added to the drugs available for the treatment of fungal infections. Ketoconazole has been shown to be effective in the treatment of mucocutaneous candidiasis with a reported 97% positive response rate. This drug may be administered orally to outpatients with a low risk of toxicity.
