RNA‐Binding Proteins: Function, Biological Mechanisms, and Therapeutic Opportunities
RNA‐binding proteins (RBPs) regulate RNA stability, localization, translation, and splicing through intrinsic binding domains and interactions with diverse cellular partners. Their competitive and cooperative networks shape disease‐related RNA programs, especially in cancer.

ABSTRACT Objective Super‐Refractory Status Epilepticus (SRSE) is a rare, life‐threatening neurological emergency with unclear etiology in many cases. Mitochondrial dysfunction, often due to disease‐causing genetic variants, is increasingly recognized as a cause, with each gene producing distinct pathophysiological mechanisms.

This review explains how chronic liver injury progresses toward hepatocellular carcinoma through interconnected changes in gut microbes, metabolism, immunity, fibrosis, and diet. It highlights microbial metabolites, bile‐acid signaling, immune dysfunction, and nutritional or microbiome‐based interventions as opportunities to identify risk earlier ...

Atherogenic burden was more strongly associated with electrophysiological severity than with CTS presence. Composite lipid indices and remnant cholesterol independently discriminated advanced CTS stages, suggesting that metabolic and microvascular factors may contribute to progressive median nerve dysfunction. ABSTRACT Background To investigate whether

Both the low‐carbohydrate diet (LCD) and the ketogenic diet (KD) positively affect body weight and glucose metabolism in type 2 diabetes. Metabolomic signatures sensitively reflect each diet and correlate with clinical improvements – distinct metabolite associations with glycated haemoglobin and weight were identified for LCD versus KD.
