European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline and EXPeRT Recommendations for the Diagnosis and Management of Gastroenteropancreatic Neuroendocrine Neoplasms in Children and Adolescents

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Pediatric gastroenteropancreatic neuroendocrine neoplasms (GEP‐NENs) are extremely rare and clinically heterogeneous. Management has largely been extrapolated from adult practice. This European Standard Clinical Practice Guideline (ESCP), developed by the EXPeRT network in collaboration with adult NEN experts, provides (adult) evidence ...

Degradation of agricultural polyethylene film by greater wax moth (Galleria mellonella) larvae and screening of involved gut bacteria

open access: yesEcotoxicology and Environmental Safety
Agricultural polyethylene (PE) mulch films persist in ecosystems, demanding efficient biodegradation. Previous studies have demonstrated the ability of greater wax moth (Galleria mellonella) larvae to feed on plastic bags and foams.

The Methanol Extract of Polygonatum odoratum Ameliorates Colitis by Improving Intestinal Short-Chain Fatty Acids and Gas Production to Regulate Microbiota Dysbiosis in Mice

open access: yesFrontiers in Nutrition, 2022
The potential impacts of methanol extract from Polygonatum odoratum on (YZM) colonic histopathology, gut gas production, short-chain fatty acids (SCFAs), and intestinal microbiota composition were evaluated with dextran sulfate sodium (DSS)-induced ...

Survival Outcomes and Complications Among Canadian Children With Retinoblastoma: A Population‐Based Report From CYP‐C

open access: yesPediatric Blood &Cancer, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Purpose Retinoblastoma (RB) is the most common pediatric ocular cancer, yet population‐based data on survival and risk factors remain limited. This study aimed to describe survival in a large national RB cohort and identify predictors of death and complications.

(In)Security of Ring-LWE Under Partial Key Exposure

open access: yesJournal of Mathematical Cryptology, 2020
Abstract We initiate the study of partial key exposure in Ring-LWE (RLWE)-based cryptosystems. Specifically, we (1) Introduce the search and decision Leaky R-LWE assumptions (Leaky R-SLWE, Leaky R-DLWE), to formalize the hardness of search/decision RLWE under leakage of some fraction of coordinates of the NTT transform of the RLWE secret.
