Alcohol, Clinical and Experimental Research, Volume 50, Issue 4, April 2026.Acute alcohol produces sex‐specific effects on GABAergic transmission in the lateral central amygdala (CeL), enhancing inhibitory signaling in males but not females. This is the first electrophysiological study focused specifically on the CeL to characterize inhibitory neurotransmission under both alcohol‐naïve and alcohol‐dependent conditions.

Microscopic time‐dependent mechanical behavior of shale derived from nanoindentation
Deep Underground Science and Engineering, Volume 5, Issue 1, Page 160-175, March 2026.This study conducted grid nanoindentation creep tests to systematically analyze the microscopic creep behaviors of shale. Based on the analysis of creep strain rate sensitivity, the primary mechanism of microscopic creep in shale was found to be the extension and closure of microcracks.

ChemElectroChem, Volume 13, Issue 1, January 2026.2,2,6,6‐tetramethyl‐1‐piperidine‐N‐oxyl‐catalyzed glycerol electrochemical oxidation proceeds with different selectivity when comparing bulk stirred and flow electrolysis. Conversion of glycerol to value‐added products is an attractive solution to the oversupply of this byproduct of biofuel production.
