ABSTRACT The growth of private academic tutoring is having some profound effects on school education. Drawing on in‐depth interviews with primary school teachers in Sydney, Australia, this paper examines teacher perspectives on how classroom teaching is impacted when large proportions of students receive private tutoring.

Electrochemical Oxidative Dihydrobenzofuran Synthesis
Dihydrobenzofurans are accessed under oxidative electrochemical conditions either starting from phenol‐based ketones or β‐ketolactones. We herein report the synthesis of dihydrobenzofurans via an oxidative cycloetherification process under electrochemical conditions.

In maize, the bHLH transcription factor ZmbHLH118 directly binds to the promoter of ZmCLCa and inhibits its expression. Tonoplast‐localized ZmCLCa mediates NO3− influx into the vacuole to regulate intracellular NO3− homeostasis, modulating nitrate uptake and metabolism, plant growth, and grain yield.
