A chemo‐enzymatic colorimetric cascade for detecting ethylene glycol contamination

A chemo‐enzymatic cascade is developed for ethylene glycol (EG) detection. EG is oxidized by GoADH with C1‐mediated cofactor recycling to produce glycolaldehyde (GAL). GAL subsequently reacts with purpald to generate a detectable purple chromophore.

Nutrient deprivation drives a lipid‐centric shift in tumour metabolic symbiosis and signalling network. CD36 functions as a bidirectional bridge, transferring fatty acids from stromal donors (adipocytes, CAFs) to the ecosystem tumour‐ and microenvironment‐dependently.

Sclerostin regulates bone morphogenetic protein (BMP) bioavailability through interactions with BMP complexes and fibrillin microfibrils

Sclerostin (SOST) is a multifunctional extracellular modulator of BMP and Wnt signaling. SOST binds with high affinity to fibrillin‐1 and fibrillin‐2, localizing it to fibrillin microfibrils and regulating its extracellular bioavailability.
