Kinematic Bézier Maps [PDF]

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Systems, Man, and Cybernetics, Part B (Cybernetics), 2012
The kinematics of a robot with many degrees of freedom is a very complex function. Learning this function for a large workspace with a good precision requires a huge number of training samples, i.e., robot movements. In this paper, we introduce the Kinematic Bézier Map (KB-Map), a parameterizable model without the generality of other systems but whose ...

KINEMATICALLY BLOCKED CURVATON [PDF]

open access: yesModern Physics Letters A, 2011
In this paper, we investigate the idea that the decay of a curvaton is kinematically blocked and show that the coupling constant for curvaton decay can be as large as [Formula: see text]. We also find in this case the lower bound of the Hubble parameter at horizon exit from big bang nucleosynthesis (BBN) is H* ≳ 7.2 × 10-9M P ~ 1010 GeV .

Age-Related Changes in Inter-Joint Interactions for Global and Local Kinematics While Standing

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Neural Systems and Rehabilitation Engineering, 2023
Inter-joint interactions are involved in human standing. These interactions work not only for global kinematics that control the center of mass (COM) of the entire body, but also for local kinematics that control joint angular movements.

A speedup method for solving the inverse kinematics problem of robotic manipulators

open access: yesInternational Journal of Advanced Robotic Systems, 2022
The inverse kinematics problem involves the study that the inverse kinematics solver needs to calculate the values of the joint variables given the desired pose of the end-effector of a robot.

Interspecies variation of larval locomotion kinematics in the genus Drosophila and its relation to habitat temperature

open access: yesBMC Biology, 2021
Background Speed and trajectory of locomotion are the characteristic traits of individual species. Locomotion kinematics may have been shaped during evolution towards increased survival in the habitats of each species.
