Multiresidue Method for Determination of Pesticides in Kiwif ruit, Apples, and Berryfruits

open access: yesJournal of AOAC INTERNATIONAL, 1983
Abstract A rapid multiresidue procedure for fruits, based on methanol extraction, is presented. Water and highly water-soluble co-extractives are removed by partitioning the pesticides into toluene. Carbon-cellulose-Florisil cleanup is performed before gas chromatography on OV-225 with electron capture detection.

Сompatibility of Actinidia arguta with Schisandra chinensis and Malus domestica plants in mixed plantings

open access: yesPlant Varieties Studying and Protection
The accumulation of photosynthetic pigments, biogenic elements and amino acids in the leaves of A. argute (kiwi berry) and S. chinensis (Chinese magnolia vine) during their cultivation in the same vegetative containers was studied.

Structural and functional characterization of Kiwi Berry dietary fiber extracted using water, wet ball milling, and water-homogenization methods

open access: yesFood Quality and Safety
Abstract Dietary fiber (DF) plays a vital role in promoting human health and has garnered increasing attention for its potential application in functional foods. In this study, three extraction techniques—water extraction (W), wet ball milling (WBM), and water-homogenization (WH) were employed to isolate DF from kiwi berry. The resulting
