Diagramme de phases LiNO3-KNO3
Comptes Rendus de l'Académie des Sciences - Series IIC - Chemistry, 1998The phase diagram of the binary system (Li, K)NO3 has been obtained by direct and differential thermal analysis techniques between 323 and 630 K. This system is characterized by a eutectic point (58 % mol KNO3, 407 ± 1 K) and a peritectic reaction at 412 ± 1 K. A plateau due to the solid-solid transition of KNO3 is observed at 403 ± 1 K.

Occlusion of KNO3 and NH4NO3 in natural zeolites
Zeolites, 1997The capacity of natural zeolites to occlude ammonium nitrate and potassium nitrate by molten salt treatment has been determined, and the salt-occluded zeolites have been characterized. Molten salt treatment resulted in changes of overall and relative intensities of peaks in X-ray diffractograms of zeolites. The presence of occluded salt in zeolites was

Phase diagram of the KNO3 + KO2 system
The Journal of Chemical Thermodynamics, 1976Abstract The phase diagram of the binary system KNO3 + KO2 has been determined. The eutectic temperature is (495 ± 1) K, the eutectic composition is 0.34 KO2. The experimental temperature of fusion of the commercial KO2 is (773 ± 1) K. A correction for KOH impurities yields (784 ± 2) K for the melting temperature of pure KO2.

Thermodynamic Properties of NaNO3-KNO3 Melts
Russian Journal of General Chemistry, 2019Thermodynamic properties of NaNO3-KNO3 melts have been studied by high-temperature mass spectrometry. The activities of the components of the condensed phase have been determined and the changes in the chemical potentials and Gibbs energies of the binary system have been calculated.

A simultaneous thermal analyzer (STA) was used to observe the transition and degradation events of LiNO3, NaNO3, KNO3, and binary NaNO3-KNO3 salts for potential use as phase change materials (PCMs) and heat transfer fluid (HTF). Samples were heated from 50 °C to 800 °C at 10 °C/min scanning rate in three atmospheres (argon, air, and oxygen) using an ...

An Investigation on the System K2Cr2O7 — KNO3 by DSC
1979The phase diagram of the binary system K2Cr2O7-KNO3 has been reinvestigated using DSC. The system is a simple eutectic one, with the eutectic point at 80 mole% KNO + 20 mole% K2Cr2O7 and 542.8 K. The enthalpies of fusion and the heat capacities of both K2Cr2O7 and KNO3 have been redetermined, as well as the enthalpy of fusion of the eutectic mixture ...
