Heterogeneous iron‐catalyzed environmentally benign and sustainable CH‐oxidative esterification methodology has been developed for the synthesis of esters. This challenging reaction has been achieved by the rational design of specific single atom iron‐based catalyst with Fe‐N4 active centers, which empowered the oxidative esterification of methyl and ...

14 NNMR investigation of KSCN [PDF]
We have directly determined with 14N NMR the SCN head-tail flipping rate in KSCN on going through the order-disorder phase transition at Tc. The results can be explained in terms of an asymmetric double-well potential for the SCN reorientations below Tc and a symmetric double-well potential above Tc.

Asymmetric single‐atom metal‐nitrogen‐carbon catalysts modulate the non‐radical pathway during peroxymonosulfate (PMS) activation. A fundamental contrast was revealed between diffusible singlet oxygen (1O2) and non‐diffusible electron‐transfer pathways (ETP) in antibiotic resistance gene (ARG) degradation.

Separation and preconcentration trace amounts of gold by using modified organo nanoclay closite 15A
The application of organo nanoclay 5-(4-dimethylamino-benzylidene) rhodanine-immobilized as a new, easily prepared, and stable solid sorbent for preconcentration trace amounts of Au(III) ions in aqueous solution is presented. The sorption of Au(III) ions

Photo‐Gated Corona Microfluidics
Photo‐gated corona microfluidics decouples optical programming from electric‐field actuation to enable reconfigurable manipulation on open, electrode‐pattern‐free surfaces. Near‐infrared irradiation locally melts paraffin, creating a reversible charge‐relaxation pathway that reconstructs the electric field.

Ru─Ni nanoclusters are anchored on WC via a rapid microwave quasi‐solid‐state method to build an ordered flexible interfacial hydrogen bond network. This structure boosts water dissociation and enables barrier‐free H/OH transport via the Grotthuss mechanism, forming dual H‐to‐Ru and OH‐to‐Ni spillover pathways to overcome the key challenges of alkaline

Photocatalytic Transfer Hydrogenation Using Plastic Hydrolysates as Hydrogen Donor
Plastic waste is transformed into functional amines via solar‐driven transfer hydrogenation. Soluble monomers from acid hydrolysis of waste polymers serve as a hydrogen (electron/proton)donors in the selective reduction of nitroarenes using a visible light active photocatalyst consisting of cobalt promoted molybdenum disulfide integrated in cyanamide ...

Synthesis, Characterization and Biological Activity Evaluation of Some New Azo Derivatives from 2- Amino Benzothiazole and Their Derivatives [PDF]
This study includes synthesis 2-amino benzothiazole and its substitutes (M1-M14) by the reaction of aniline derivatives with KSCN in presence of Br2 and glacial acetic acid then neutralize by concentrated ammonia solution or (by 50% NaOH).

Analysis of Corrosion and Wall Perforation in the Heat Exchanger Made of AISI 316L Stainless Steel
Elevated passivation temperature is identified as the dominant factor triggering localized corrosion and subsequent perforation of AISI 316L heat exchanger tubes. Electrochemical and complementary characterization results show that the alloy retains high resistance to general, pitting, and intergranular corrosion, indicating that failure primarily ...
