A supramolecular pyroptotic thermal switch encapsulates I3− within β‐cyclodextrin (β‐CD) and undergoes CaCO3 mineralization. Upon lysosomal acidification, CaCO3 is degraded, releasing Ca2+ and I3−. Concurrently, BODIPY activation converts I3− into I2, inducing oxidative stress and Ca2+ overload, which together trigger caspase‐3/GSDME‐mediated ...

New compounds: peptide derivatives of the antitumor agent N-phosphonoacetyl-L-aspartic acid. [PDF]
Two peptide forms of the antitumor transition state analogue N-phosphonoacetyl-L-aspartic acid (N2-phosphonoacetyl-N4-glycylglycinamidoethyl-L-asparagine and N1-glycylglycinamidoethyl-N2-phosphonoacetyl-L-isoasparagine ) have been synthesized to obtain ...

Cancer‐Associated BCL‐2 Mutants Reveal Mechanisms Towards Venetoclax Resistance
Venetoclax (VEN) resistance in chronic lymphocytic leukemia arises from diverse BCL2 mutations. We map mechanisms contributing to VEN resistance across common BCL‐2 variants. G101V and D103Y reduce drug binding and increase sequestration of pro‐apoptotic proteins. V156D blocks VEN allosterically.

35 Individuals With HUWE1‐Related Neurodevelopmental Disorder and Suggested Clinical Evaluations
ABSTRACT HUWE1 (HECT, UBA, and WWE Domain Containing E3 Ubiquitin Protein Ligase1, OMIM 300697), located at Xp11.22, encodes a ubiquitin ligase that is highly conserved across species. Genetic variants in HUWE1 described in multiple independent studies cause X‐linked intellectual disability, including in the patients identified by Juberg, Marsidi, and ...

Introduction of the N-Phthaloyl Group into Heat-Sensitive Amino Acid Derivatives; N-Phthaloyl-L-Aspartic Acid* [PDF]
A method is described by which heat-sensitive amino acid derivatives can be converted to unracemized N-phthaloyl amino acids using o-carbethoxythiobenzoic acid (II) or its sodium salt.
