, 1992 Results presented in this study demonstrate that L-glutamine, a competitive inhibitor of L-histidine uptake, inhibits in a concentration-dependent fashion the L-histidine-mediated enhancement of H2O2-induced cytotoxicity.

Switching Spike Plasticity Shapes ACE2 Engagement Across SARS‐CoV‐2 Variants
Advanced Science, EarlyView.Conformational plasticity governs SARS‐CoV‐2 spike function and ACE2 recognition. Using high‐speed AFM and single‐molecule force spectroscopy, we analyzed the ancestral spike and nine variants, revealing progressive rigidification from Delta, variable plasticity in Omicron sublineages, and JN.1 compaction.

A Multiscale Mechanistic Framework for Polydopamine Dyeing in Ultrablack Wool Textiles
Advanced Science, EarlyView.Ultrablack photonic textiles are enabled through polydopamine (PDA) dyeing, which is governed by the interplay of PDA chemistry, wool surface topology and chemistry, and hierarchical fiber–yarn–fabric architecture. Fabric architecture emerges as a primary and previously underappreciated design lever for wide‐angle optical performance.
