Spiroluchuen A‐Synthase: Eine Cyclase aus Aspergillus luchuensis, die ein spirotetracyclisches Diterpen bildet

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 135, Issue 52, December 21, 2023., 2023

Spiroluchuene A Synthase: A Cyclase from Aspergillus luchuensis Forming a Spirotetracyclic Diterpene

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie International Edition, Volume 62, Issue 52, December 21, 2023., 2023
A diterpene synthase for spiroluchuene A exhibiting a novel skeleton was discovered from Aspergillus luchuensis. Enzyme engineering through site‐directed mutagenesis allowed for the isolation of spiroluchuene B and the intermediate spiroluchuene. The enzyme mechanism was deeply studied through isotopic labelling experiments, DFT calculations and ...

Dominant‐negative variant in SLC1A4 causes an autosomal dominant epilepsy syndrome

open access: yesAnnals of Clinical and Translational Neurology, Volume 10, Issue 6, Page 1046-1053, June 2023., 2023
Abstract SLC1A4 is a trimeric neutral amino acid transporter essential for shuttling L‐serine from astrocytes into neurons. Individuals with biallelic variants in SLC1A4 are known to have spastic tetraplegia, thin corpus callosum, and progressive microcephaly (SPATCCM) syndrome, but individuals with heterozygous variants are not thought to have disease.

Evaluation of phytoconstituents of Triticum aestivum grass extracts on nutritional attributes, antioxidant, and antimicrobial activities against food pathogens with molecular in silico investigation

open access: yesFood Frontiers, Volume 4, Issue 2, Page 831-848, June 2023., 2023
The present study elaborates on the nutritional, antioxidant and antimicrobial potential of a non‐genetically modified type of T. aestivum grass, along with the evidence of molecular docking studies. The compound extracted from T. aestivum was docked against the antioxidant protein and antimicrobial drug targets.
