13.8 kV, 5 MVA Medium Voltage Test Facility: Design, Implementation and Lessons Learned
Hands-on, testing laboratories are fundamental to technical learning environments in universities. The need for modern equipment in these labs to support industry research and testing is often cost prohibitive and students and professors rely on a random

Las actividades de laboratorio en Física: un cambio en la estructura a favor del conocimiento científico [PDF]
In this article we argue how the use of structured laboratory guides are pedagogically inadequate for meaningful learning. Subsequently, an approach to laboratory activities in accordance with scientific work and the constructivist vision of learning is described, exemplifying how this approach can be applied to restructure a usual laboratory practice.

Pilot-Scale Laboratory Instruction for ChE: the specific case of the Pilot-unit leading group [PDF]
This paper presents an original approach for Chemical Engineering laboratory teaching that is currently applied at INP-ENSIACET (France). This approach, referred to as "pilot-unit leading group" is based on a partial management of the laboratories by the

TOMM20 increases cancer aggressiveness by maintaining a reduced state with increased NADH and NADPH levels, oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS), and apoptosis resistance while reducing reactive oxygen species (ROS) levels. Conversely, CRISPR‐Cas9 knockdown of TOMM20 alters these cancer‐aggressive traits.

Transcriptome‐wide analysis of circRNA and RBP profiles and their molecular relevance for GBM
CircRNAs are differentially expressed in glioblastoma primary tumors and might serve as therapeutic targets and diagnostic markers. The investigation of circRNA and RNA‐binding proteins (RBPs) interactions shows that distinct RBPs play a role in circRNA biogenesis and function.

This study investigates an alternative approach to reactivating the oncosuppressor p53 in cancer. A short peptide targeting the association of the two p53 inhibitors, MDM2 and MDM4, induces an otherwise therapeutically active p53 with unique features that promote cell death and potentially reduce toxicity towards proliferating nontumor cells.

Elevated level of cholesterol is positively correlated to prostate cancer development and disease severity. Cholesterol‐lowering drugs, such as statins, are demonstrated to inhibit prostate cancer. VNPP433‐3β interrupts multiple signaling and metabolic pathways, including cholesterol biosynthesis, AR‐mediated transcription of several oncogenes, mRNA 5′
