Lamin A/C and cardiac diseases

Current Opinion in Cardiology, 2006
In this review, we will outline the most recent and significant findings on the role of the lamin A/C in cardiac diseases.Mutations in the lamin A/C gene (LMNA) are associated with numerous diseases involving the heart, skeletal muscles, bones, adipose and nervous tissues. LMNA is one of the most prevalent genes in dilated cardiomyopathy in which it is

A laminate design system

Proceedings of the SHARE design automation project on - DAC '65, 1965
This paper describes a technique for automatically designing and producing artwork for multi-layer laminates used in digital computer construction at Litton Industries. This technique consists of a number of computer programs which are a sub-system of a general design automation effort called IDAS (Integrated Design Automation System).

SULLIVAN'S LAMINATION OF A PLANAR REGION

1985
The following theorem, which is close to the Sullivan's lamination theorem, is presented with a very simple proof based on the nonstandard analysis transcription of the original Sullivan's idea: Let R be a bounded open set in \({\mathbb{R}}^ 2\), B be the boundary of R; then for every \(p\in R\), there exists a circle K in \({\mathbb{R}}^ 2\) such that

A solution procedure for determining laminate configurations from lamination parameters

Advanced Composite Materials, 1991
The present paper shows a solution procedure for determining laminate configurations corresponding to in-plane and/or out-of-plane lamination parameters for symmetric and balanced laminates. The solution procedure is shown for the laminate with an infinite number of plies as well as that with a finite number of plies.

Mass Lamination as a Laminator's Service to the PCB Industry

Circuit World, 1981
This paper describes the principles of mass lamination as applied to the production of multilayer printed wiring boards. Recent development of the service is briefly discussed, highlighting the ways it can reduce costs and investment required to produce in large volume.
