2017 IEEE 20th International Conference on Intelligent Transportation Systems (ITSC), 2017Lane changes can induce natural large perturbations in traffic flow and are known to impact traffic throughput and energy consumption. Their precise effects are understudied. The primary aim of this article is to present a model for lane changing that is tractable for system-level analysis and yet captures qualities of microscopic vehicle dynamics.

Lane confidence assessment and lane change decision for lane-level localization
2014 14th International Conference on Control, Automation and Systems (ICCAS 2014), 2014This paper presents the confidence assessment algorithm of lane mark detected by a vision sensor for lane change decision and its application to lane-level localization. The lane mark information is critical to determine whether driving maneuver is either lane following or lane change.
