A Novel Dynamic Lane-Changing Trajectory Planning Model for Automated Vehicles Based on Reinforcement Learning

open access: yesJournal of Advanced Transportation, 2022
Lane changing behavior has a significant impact on traffic efficiency and may lead to traffic delays or even accidents. It is important to plan a safe and efficient lane-changing trajectory that coordinates with the surrounding environment.

Nuclear pore links Fob1‐dependent rDNA damage relocation to lifespan control

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Damaged rDNA accumulates at a specific perinuclear interface that couples nucleolar escape with nuclear envelope association. Nuclear pores at this site help inhibit Fob1‐induced rDNA instability. This spatial organization of damage handling supports a functional link between nuclear architecture, rDNA stability, and replicative lifespan in yeast.

Modeling collision risk for unsafe lane-changing behavior: A lane-changing risk index approach

open access: yesAlexandria Engineering Journal
The lane-changing maneuvers are challenging and contributes to traffic accidents and crashes. They are complicated task that often lead to an increased risk of vehicle collisions and deteriorates traffic flow. This paper proposes a vehicle collision risk

Lane-Changing Feedback Control for Efficient Lane Assignment at Motorway Bottlenecks [PDF]

open access: yesTransportation Research Record: Journal of the Transportation Research Board, 2017
A feedback control strategy is proposed for lane assignment at bottleneck locations. The strategy assumes that some vehicles equipped with vehicle automation and communication systems are capable of receiving and executing specific lane-changing orders or recommendations.

Erythropoietin modulates hepatic inflammation, glucose homeostasis, and soluble epoxide hydrolase and epoxides in high‐fat diet‐induced obese mice

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Erythropoietin administration suppresses hepatic soluble epoxide hydrolase (sEH) expression, leading to increased CYP‐derived epoxides. This is associated with a shift in hepatic macrophage polarization characterized by reduced M1 markers and increased M2 markers, along with reduced hepatic inflammation, suppressed hepatic lipogenesis, and attenuated ...

Deep Q‐network based multi‐layer safety lane changing strategy for vehicle platoon

open access: yesIET Intelligent Transport Systems
The vehicle platoon lane changing is significant for alleviating road congestion and diminishing transportation energy consumption. However, the lane changing strategy for a group of vehicles is still a great challenge in this field.

Screening and epitope characterization of Nidogen‐2‐specific nanobodies

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
Camel immunization and phage display were employed to generate high‐affinity VHH nanobodies against Nidogen‐2. After library construction, biopanning, ELISA screening, sequencing, and recombinant expression, selected nanobodies were purified and characterized, leading to the preliminary exploration of a nanobody‐based sandwich ELISA for specific ...

Modeling of Lane Changing Behavior of Connected Driving Based on Vehicle Interaction Potential

open access: yesApplied Sciences
Aiming at the interactive behavior of vehicles changing lanes in the intelligent network traffic environment, the relative position of vehicle, speed, acceleration, and steering angle are introduced to correct the molecular interaction potential, and the

Socio-demographic impacts on lane-changing response time and distance in work zone with Drivers' Smart Advisory System

open access: yesJournal of Traffic and Transportation Engineering (English ed. Online), 2015
Lane-changing behavior is an important component of traffic simulation. A lane-changing action is normally confined to a decision-making process of the task, and the action itself is sometimes assumed as an instantaneous event. Besides, the lane-changing
