Humanoid cognition-based approach: Lane-changing decision making and dynamic trajectory planning for autonomous driving

open access: yesJournal of Intelligent and Connected Vehicles
Autonomous lane-changing decision making and planning represent a fundamental aspect of advanced driving technologies, playing a pivotal role in improving operational safety, enhancing passenger comfort, and optimizing traffic flow.

A Keratinocyte‐Mast Cell NF‐κB2/CXCL2/IL‐6 Amplification Loop Enhances Cutaneous Antifungal Defense Against C. albicans

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Mast cells (MCs), key innate immune sentinels at the host–environment interface, serve as primary responders to invading pathogens. However, their specific contribution to host defense against cutaneous Candida albicans (C. albicans) infection and their synergy with other immune and non‐immune cells remain poorly understood. Here, we show that

Analysis of Highway Vehicle Lane Change Duration Based on Survival Model

open access: yesBig Data and Cognitive Computing
To investigate highway vehicle lane-changing behavior, we utilized the publicly available naturalistic driving dataset, HighD, to extract the movement data of vehicles involved in lane changes and their proximate counterparts.

Enzymatic DNA Reaction Networks for Orchestrating Stimuli‐Dependent Temporal Molecular Pulse

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We present an enzymatic DNA reaction network (EDRN) that encodes nucleic‐acid targets in time, converting inputs into a universal strand and then into programmable transient fluorescence pulses. With time‐color multiplexing, EDRN enables single‐tube high‐plex nucleic acid detection and shows strong agreement with clinical sequencing across 32 specimens.

Analysis of Discretionary Lane Changing Parameters on Freeways

open access: yesInternational Journal of Transportation Science and Technology, 2014
A lane changing event, at the instant when a vehicle crosses the lane marker, involves up to five vehicles: the subject vehicle, preceding and following vehicles in the original lane, and the preceding and following vehicles in the target lane ...

Dose‐Dependent Reprogramming of Chromatin Accessibility by SOX4 Drives the Transcriptional Response to Iron Overload

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study demonstrates that iron overload triggers widespread chromatin compaction and transcriptional repression in human granulosa cells, recapitulating features of endometriosis. The epigenetic reprogramming is orchestrated by a TFEB‐SOX4‐SWI/SNF axis, with SOX4 acting as a central, dosage‐sensitive regulator.

Shared Control for Vehicle Lane-Changing with Uncertain Driver Behaviors

open access: yesCoRR
Lane changes are common yet challenging driving maneuvers that require continuous decision-making and dynamic interaction with surrounding vehicles. Relying solely on human drivers for lane-changing can lead to traffic disturbances due to the stochastic nature of human behavior and its variability under different task demands.

Stress History Establishes a Transient Tolerant State That Shapes Antibiotic Survival Upon Resuscitation

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
High‐throughput single‐cell analysis of resuscitating bacteria reveals a starvation‐history‐dependent transiently tolerant subpopulation that survives β$\beta$‐lactam exposure by temporarily reducing growth. Distinct from classical persisters, these actively growing yet dynamically modulated cells dominate survival across clinically relevant antibiotic

Intelligent Control of Merging Car-following and Lane-Changing Behavior

open access: yesCoRR
Recent research has paid little attention to complex driving behaviors, namely merging car-following and lane-changing behavior, and how lane-changing affects algorithms designed to model and control a car-following vehicle. During the merging behavior, the Follower Vehicle (FV) might significantly diverge from typical car-following models.

Microglia‐Targeted Biomimetic Tetrahedral Framework Nucleic Acid Nanovesicles for Synergistic Treatment of Sepsis‐Associated Encephalopathy

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Sepsis‐associated encephalopathy (SAE) lacks effective therapies. We developed ME@FDsi, a biomimetic nanodrug using a tetrahedral framework nucleic acid to deliver disulfiram and siTNFα. It crosses the blood‐brain barrier, targets M1 microglia, inhibits pyroptosis and inflammation, and scavenges ROS.
