Lane-change detection based on individual driving style

open access: yes, 2019
This paper presents a novel method to detect when a vehicle is changing lanes by considering individual driving styles. Some previous works have focused on the relation between lane changes and driving styles; however, the detection method of lane ...

ABL kinase‐dependent phosphorylation of SH proteins promotes their direct interaction with CRK family SH2 domains

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
CT10 regulator of kinase (CRK) and CRK‐Like (CRKL) are signaling adaptors driving cell adhesion, motility, differentiation, and proliferation. SH2‐domain containing (SH) proteins are enriched in YXXP motifs which when phosphorylated create preferred binding sites for CRK family SH2 domains.

Engineering peptides into antibodies—opportunities and strategies for therapeutic innovation

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Peptides and antibodies occupy complementary therapeutic niches. Peptides recognize difficult targets in a compact format, while antibodies add specificity, long half‐life, and effector functions. This review examines strategies that merge both modalities—peptide grafting into loops, terminal and Fc fusions, and bioconjugation—highlighting how ...

Robust Lane Detection under Varying Lighting Conditions Using Adaptive Vision-Based Techniques

open access: yesJournal of Informatics and Web Engineering
Reliable lane detection is crucial to autonomous driving but continues to be challenging with varying lighting conditions. Fluctuations in illuminations due to bright sunlight, shadows or low lighting at night can degrade the visual quality and adversely

Functional comparison of EncB and EncC cargo proteins in iron storage within the Myxococcus xanthus encapsulin

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Encapsulins are protein nanocompartments that play an important role in iron storage. In the Myxococcus xanthus encapsulin system, two cargo proteins called EncB and EncC contribute to iron mineralization. Here, we show that EncB and EncC generate iron‐containing minerals with distinct chemical compositions, suggesting that the composition of stored ...
