The complete assignment of the 13C nmr spectra of lasalocid and the sodium salt-complex of the antibiotic.

open access: yesThe Journal of Antibiotics, 1978
All thirty-four signals observed in the 13C nmr of both the free acid form (Ia) and sodium salt (Ib) of the polyether antibiotic lasalocid have been assigned. This was achieved using model compounds such as 3-methylsalicylic acid, the retroaldol ketones from both lasalocid and lysocellin and a gamma-lactone from a third polyether, salinomycin. The last

Collaborative Study of a Microbiological Assay for Lasalocid Sodium in Feeds

open access: yesJournal of AOAC INTERNATIONAL, 1975
Abstract The microbiological cylinder plate assay method for lasalocid sodium reported earlier was studied in a slightly modified form by 7 laboratories. Assay values paralleled recovery values and all data were corrected by the corresponding daily recovery factor for the feed type.
