Phytoliths, pollen, and spores in a stratigraphic sequence from the Shishan Wetland (Azraq Basin, Jordan) and supported by modern pollen and phytolith data provide information on vegetation, climatic trends, and the influence of fire through MIS 2 and ...

Monitoring circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) in patients with operable breast cancer can reveal disease relapse earlier than radiology in a subset of patients. The failure to detect ctDNA in some patients with recurrent disease suggests that ctDNA could serve as a supplement to other monitoring approaches.

Origin and significance of ice‐rafted detritus in the Atlantic sector of the Southern Ocean
Piston core TN057‐14 from the eastern Atlantic sector of the Southern Ocean contains several layers rich in volcanic tephra that were deposited during the last glacial period.

North Atlantic abrupt climatic events of the last glacial period recorded in Ukrainian loess deposits [PDF]
Loess deposits are widely distributed in the Northern Hemisphere, where they have recorded not only the glacial-interglacial cycles, but also millennial-timescale changes resembling those in marine and ice cores. Such abrupt variations are clearly marked

Reconciling diverse lacustrine and terrestrial system response to penultimate deglacial warming in southern Europe [PDF]
Unlike the most recent deglaciation, the regional expression of climate changes during the penultimate deglaciation remains understudied, even though it led into a period of excess warmth with estimates of global average temperature 1–2 °C, and sea level

The transition from the Last Glacial Period in inland and near‐coastal Antarctica [PDF]
Recent studies suggested that, during the transition out of the last glacial period, one near‐coastal site in Antarctica showed a response similar to that of Greenland, and unlike that of central Antarctica. Here, we present a new high‐resolution record of calcium from Dome C, Antarctica.

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

Variable sequence of events during the past seven terminations in two deep-sea cores from the Southern Ocean [PDF]
The relationships among internally consistent records of summer sea-surface temperature (SSST), winter sea ice (WSI), and diatomaceous stable isotopes were studied across seven terminations over the last 660 ka in sedimentary cores from ODP sites 1093 ...
