CCDC80 suppresses high‐grade serous ovarian cancer migration via negative regulation of B7‐H3

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
PAX8 is a lineage‐specific master regulator of transcription in high‐grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSC) progression. We show for the first time that PAX8 facilitates proliferation and metastasis by repressing the cell autonomous tumor suppressor CCDC80 and inducing B7‐H3 expression.

« Paléolithique final et Mésolithique dans le Bassin parisien et ses marges. Habitats, sociétés et environnements » : cinq ans de fonctionnement d’un projet collectif de recherche du ministère de la Culture

open access: yesLes Nouvelles de l’Archéologie, 2015
This collective project of research, which started in 2009, is dedicated to hunter-gatherers societies in Paris Basin from the fourteenth millenium cal BC until the sixth millenium cal BC, i.e during the Late Glacial and the beginning of the Post Glacial.

Reconciling diverse lacustrine and terrestrial system response to penultimate deglacial warming in southern Europe [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
Unlike the most recent deglaciation, the regional expression of climate changes during the penultimate deglaciation remains understudied, even though it led into a period of excess warmth with estimates of global average temperature 1–2 °C, and sea level

Late Quaternary glacial phases in the Iberian Peninsula

open access: yesEarth-Science Reviews, 2019
The only glaciers existing today in the Iberian Peninsula are small features located in the Pyrenees, though their number and extension has undergone significant changes over the Late Quaternary. The wide range of glacial landforms and deposits distributed across different Iberian ranges suggests the occurrence of several past periods with larger ...

Cell‐cycle‐specific lesion evolution rather than inhibition of double‐strand‐break repair underpins cisplatin radiosensitization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

The northern sector of the last British ice sheet : maximum extent and demise [PDF]

open access: yes, 2008
Strongly divided opinion has led to competing, apparently contradictory, views on the timing, extent, flow configuration and decay mechanism of the last British Ice Sheet.

Proteasome inhibitor, ixazomib prevents topoisomerase‐I degradation and reverses irinotecan resistance in colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Ixazomib inhibits proteasome‐mediated degradation of topoisomerase I induced by irinotecan, thereby restoring drug sensitivity and promoting tumor cell death in colorectal cancer. Irinotecan, a topoisomerase I (topoI) inhibitor, is widely used for colorectal cancer, but resistance remains a major clinical challenge.

Loss of IGF‐1R impairs DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin leading to defective end‐joining

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
IGF‐1R promotes radioresistance by facilitating DNA‐PKcs recruitment to chromatin, enabling non‐homologous end‐joining (NHEJ) repair of double‐strand breaks. Inhibition or loss of IGF‐1R disrupts this recruitment to damage sites, driving compensatory reliance on microhomology‐mediated end‐joining (MMEJ) repair.

Palaeoenvironmental record of the last 70 000 yr in San Felipe Basin, Sonora desert, Mexico: preliminary results [PDF]

open access: yesGeofísica Internacional, 1999
Preliminary results of a palaeoenvironmental research which includes particle size analyses, diatom and rock-magnetic analyses for a 9.5 m long core from Laguna Seca de San Felipe (LSSF), Baja California, are presented.

A persistent and dynamic East Greenland Ice Sheet over the past 7.5 million years [PDF]

open access: yes, 2016
Climate models show that ice-sheet melt will dominate sea-level rise over the coming centuries, but our understanding of ice-sheet variations before the last interglacial 125,000 years ago remains fragmentary.
