Temporohyoid osteoarthropathy: Recurrence of clinical signs following standing partial ceratohyoidectomy in a Swiss Warmblood mare

Summary A 17‐year‐old Swiss Warmblood mare presented with signs of left‐sided facial nerve paralysis and was diagnosed with left‐sided temporohyoid osteoarthropathy (THO). A partial ceratohyoidectomy was performed in the standing, sedated mare to treat this condition.

Dietary management of normoalbuminaemic canine chronic enteropathies

Dietary management represents the cornerstone of treatment for chronic enteropathy in dogs, with approximately 50% of cases in referral practice responding to dietary intervention alone. Success rates improve significantly when multiple systematic diet trials are implemented.

Length of the Adult Human Colon in Health and Constipation Measured Using Magnetic Resonance Imaging

Colon length was measured in adult healthy volunteers, people with chronic constipation, and people with IBS with constipation using MRI. Colon length is significantly longer in chronic constipation. The chronically constipated colon is unable to accommodate longitudinally in response to fluid influx from a macrogol challenge.

Computational Quantification of Peristalsis in Preclinical Mouse Models Using Smartphone Videography
