Layering in lamina 6 of cat striate cortex
Brain Research, 1986Retrograde transport after the injection of the tracer, wheatgerm agglutinin-horseradish peroxidase, into different neural sites revealed a layering of labelled cells in lamina 6 of the striate cortex of the cat. Depending on their destination, efferent cells were clustered at different levels in lamina 6 so that cells projecting to the claustrum ...

Surface Layers of 6-Thioguanine on the Mercury Electrode
Journal of Colloid and Interface Science, 2002The adsorption behavior of 6-thioguanine (6TG) on a hanging mercury drop electrode has been studied with ac and cyclic voltammetry in 0.1 M Na2SO4 and 0.01 M sodium acetate solutions at pH 4.3. Several condensed phases of chemically adsorbed 6TG as well as one phase of physically adsorbed 6TG have been characterized.

Characteristics of the magnetospheric boundary layer and magnetopause layer as observed by Imp 6
Journal of Geophysical Research: Space Physics, 1979Imp 6 observations of the low‐latitude magnetospheric boundary layer indicate that the plasma within it is supplied primarily by direct entry of magnetosheath plasma across the magnetopause layer. We define the magnetopause layer as the current layer (separating the magnetosheath from the boundary layer) through which the magnetic field shifts in ...

Design of a Quiet Inlet for a 6×6 Boundary Layer Flow Duct
SAE Technical Paper Series, 2011<div class="section abstract"><div class="htmlview paragraph">The turbulent boundary layer (TBL) that forms on the outer skin of the aircraft in flight is a significant source of interior noise. However, the existing quiet test facilities capable of measuring the TBL wall pressure fluctuations tend to be at low Mach numbers.

Deformation mechanism of nylon 6/layered silicate nanocomposites: Role of the layered silicate
Journal of Applied Polymer Science, 2007AbstractPolymer/layered silicate nanocomposites, depending on the molecular weight of nylon 6 as the matrix, were prepared through melt blending with a twin‐screw extruder to study their morphology and the role of layered silicates (i.e., montmorillonite) on local deformation processes.
