Establishment of Thin Layer Chromatographic Method for Determination of Radiochemical Purity of Technetium[99mTc] Methylenediphosphonate Injection

open access: yesJournal of Isotopes, 2023
To establish a reliable method for measuring the radiochemical purity of technetium[99mTc] methylenediphosphonate injection, analysis conditions such as stationary phase and developing solvent were studied.

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

Observation of Raman G-band splitting in top-doped few-layer graphene

open access: yes, 2010
An experimental study of Raman scattering in N-layer graphene as a function of the top layer doping is reported. At high doping level, achieved by a CHF_3 plasma treatment, we observe a splitting of the $G$ band in the spectra of bilayer and 4-layer ...

Linking neurogenesis, oligodendrogenesis, and myelination defects to neurodevelopmental disruption in primary mitochondrial disorders

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Mitochondrial remodeling shapes neural and glial lineage progression by matching metabolic supply with demand. Elevated OXPHOS supports differentiation and myelin formation, while myelin compaction lowers mitochondrial dependence, revealing mitochondria as key drivers of developmental energy adaptation.

Receptivity of the Boundary Layer over a Blunt Wedge with Distributed Roughness at Mach 6

open access: yesInternational Journal of Aerospace Engineering, 2018
A hypersonic flow field over a blunt wedge with or without roughness is simulated by a direct numerical simulation method. The effect of isolated and distributed roughnesses on the steady and unsteady hypersonic flow field and boundary layer is analyzed.

Observation of mesospheric air inside the arctic stratospheric polar vortex in early 2003 [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
During several balloon flights inside the Arctic polar vortex in early 2003, unusual trace gas distributions were observed, which indicate a strong influence of mesospheric air in the stratosphere.

The ubiquitin ligase RNF115 is required for the clearance of damaged lysosomes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Upon lysosomal rupture, an E3 ubiquitin ligase RNF115 translocates from the cytosol to the damaged lysosomal membrane. Moreover, RNF115 depletion impairs the clearance of damaged lysosomes, identifying it as a key regulator of lysosomal quality control.

Thin-film ultraviolet detector and spectrometer [PDF]

open access: yes, 1972
Typical metal-insulator-metal detector device is formed on quartz substrate. Base electrode is 3 to 6 nm aluminum layer, overcoated with 3 to 6 nm aluminum oxide or aluminum nitride, and capped with counter electrode of gold, lead, magnesium, or aluminum.

AAA+ protein unfoldases—the Moirai of the proteome

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
AAA+ unfoldases are essential molecular motors that power protein degradation and disaggregation. This review integrates recent cryo‐electron microscopy (cryo‐EM) structures and single‐molecule biophysical data to reconcile competing models of substrate translocation.

New Polylactide/Layered Silicate Nanocomposites, 6

open access: yesMacromolecular Materials and Engineering, 2003
AbstractThe measurement of rheological properties of any polymeric material under molten state is crucial to gain fundamental understanding of the processability of that material. In the case of polymer/layered silicate nanocomposites, the measurements of rheological properties are not only important to understand the knowledge of the processability of
