Data of phosphoproteomic analysis of non-functioning pituitary adenoma

open access: yesData in Brief, 2018
Here we describe data of a comprehensive phosphoproteomic evaluation of 20 non-functioning pituitary adenomas (NFPAs). Peptides from 20 tumor samples were enriched with TiO2 beads and fractioned using bRPLC and subjected to high throughput LC-MS/MS ...

OCIAD2 Stabilizes Integrin β1 Signaling Through SNX17‐Mediated Endosomal Recycling to Lipid Rafts and Modulates Cisplatin Response in HNSCC

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study identifies OCIAD2 as a critical regulator of cisplatin resistance in HNSCC. Mechanistically, OCIAD2 stabilizes integrin β1 through a direct physical interaction and facilitates its SNX17‐dependent endosomal recycling to lipid raft microdomains. Targeting OCIAD2 disrupts integrin β1 trafficking and significantly enhances cisplatin sensitivity,

SR‐B1‐Mediated Transplacental Transfer of Hydrophobic Toxicants Disrupts Fetal Development During Barriergenesis

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
This study maps the spatiotemporal distribution of hydrophobic toxicants and endogenous metabolites in the developing placenta and fetus. By integrating mass spectrometry imaging with snRNA‐seq, we identify SR‐B1 as a key transporter driving early‐gestation xenobiotic transfer and reveal a critical exposure window associated with persistent fetal ...

A Protein‐Centric Strategy Coupled with Match‐Between‐Run Glycoproteomics Enables Discovery of Robust Site‐Specific Glycan Biomarkers for Hepatocellular Carcinoma

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
In this study, a highly robust N‐glycoproteomics (HRN) platform with a newly developed match‐between‐run scheme is used for biomarker discovery. This study proposes a protein‐centric strategy to prioritize proteins susceptible to aberrant glycosylation.

Antibacterial activity of Myrtus communis leaf extract against three pathogenic Xylella fastidiosa subspecies

open access: yesFrontiers in Plant Science
The limited availability of sustainable strategies for managing Xylella fastidiosa (Xf) underscores the urgent need for innovative and practical antimicrobial solutions. In this study, an extract from the leaves of Myrtus communis (MC) biotype “Tarantino”

Proteomics data in support of the quantification of the changes of bovine milk proteins during mammary gland involution

open access: yesData in Brief, 2016
Here we provide data from three proteomics techniques; two-dimensional electrophoresis (2-DE) followed by identification of selected spots using PSD MALDI-TOF MS/MS, one-dimensional gel electrophoresis followed by LC-MS/MS analysis of gel slices (GeLC ...

Pre-column Derivative HPLC and LC-Orbitrap-MS Analysis of Monosaccharides and Non-Polysaccharides in Polygonati Rhizoma

open access: yesChromatographia
Abstract Polygonati Rhizoma, as a traditional medicinal herb, possesses pharmacological effects enhancing physical strength and immunity. In this study, a systematic analysis of the monosaccharide and non-polysaccharides components in Polygonati Rhizoma was conducted using pre-column derivatization high-performance liquid chromatography (HPLC ...

A Testis‐Specific Aralkylamine N‐Acetyltransferase Regulates Dimorphic Sperm Function and Male Fertility in Moths

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
We identify a Lepidoptera‐conserved testis‐specific arylalkylamine N‐acetyltransferase (LTNAT) that governs male moth fertility via a novel mechanism. LTNAT loss disrupts eupyrene sperm mitochondrial derivatives and impairs apyrene sperm motility, offering a safe molecular target for innovative pesticides and genetic pest control.

Mass spectrometry-based approach for development of biomarkers in IgA nephropathy: a pilot trial

open access: yesFujita Medical Journal, 2018
IgA1 with galactose (Gal)-deficient hinge-region (HR) O-glycans (Gd-IgA1) plays a key role in IgA nephropathy (IgAN), and the serum level of Gd-IgA1 is elevated in the majority of IgAN patients.
